Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform (NYSE: IBTA) and the largest tech IPO in Colorado history, is seeking a Business Analytics Manager to join the Revenue Strategy & Operations team. This role goes beyond traditional data reporting—you'll embed directly with the revenue organization to understand their decision-making processes, reframe ambiguous requests into high-impact questions, and deliver insights at speed.
You'll build and ship insight products (analyses, models, scalable visualizations) that serve the entire Revenue organization, not one-off reports. A core differentiator: you'll work AI-natively, using LLM agents and agentic workflows as fundamental tools to compress the question-to-answer cycle and raise what one person can deliver. You'll serve as a design partner to Ibotta's Data & Analytics teams, advising on data models, metric definitions, and semantic layers so Revenue's needs are architected into the foundation. You'll own the quality bar on AI-assisted output—validating results, understanding model limitations, and making reasoning transparent to stakeholders. You'll also develop internal patterns, tooling, and documentation that enable others in Revenue to work this way.
Required: 5–7+ years in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data science with a track record of work that changed business decisions. You must have shipped meaningful work using LLMs or agentic workflows and can speak specifically about what worked, what failed, and how you verified output. Advanced SQL (complex modeling, semantic layer design) on modern warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery) is preferred. Experience with modern visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and strong opinions about when dashboards are the wrong answer is valued. You'll need proven business instincts—ability to read revenue models, understand drivers, and prioritize by impact. Excellent communication skills to move between technical and executive conversations, and high autonomy in ambiguity, are essential. Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative, technical, or business field preferred.
The role is hybrid in Denver (3 days in office: Tuesday–Thursday). Relocation assistance is available. Ibotta offers competitive pay, flexible time off, medical/dental/vision, ESPP, 401k match, paid parking, and snacks.
