Teya is a Series C fintech platform serving local businesses across Europe with financial services tools including credit, acquiring, and business accounts. As a Business Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of data and decision-making, responsible for building and maintaining Net Present Value, unit economics, and customer lifetime value models that inform pricing, segmentation, and investment decisions at the executive level. Your core responsibilities include: building and maintaining financial models for Teya's product suite, grounded in observed merchant behavior; conducting in-depth analyses of customer behavior and product performance to identify value drivers and stress-test assumptions; designing and implementing experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, natural experiments) to validate hypotheses around pricing, credit risk, and segmentation; developing and monitoring key metrics and dashboards that track portfolio and product economics in real-time; and collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Engineering to translate insights into actionable decisions. You will also conduct investigative analysis to identify data gaps and model limitations, proactively surfacing insights that reshape how Teya understands its business, and create clear presentations and documentation that translate complex findings into recommendations for stakeholders from operational teams to the executive committee. Required qualifications: 1+ years in business/credit analytics, valuations, credit risk, customer analytics, or strategy in financial services, lending, or similarly data-driven environments; Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, or related); proficiency in SQL for data extraction and Excel/Python for modeling; strong analytical problem-solving with ability to structure ambiguous challenges; excellent communication skills to translate technical analysis into business insights; self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity; collaborative mindset with cross-functional team experience. Familiarity with lending economics (expected loss, risk-adjusted returns, cohort repayment curves) is a plus. Teya offers flexible working hours, physical and mental health support through WellHub partnership, extended maternity/paternity leave, Cycle-to-Work Scheme, health and life insurance, pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, office snacks, and a friendly, informal office environment in Central London.
