Moody's is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to serve as a Product Analyst/Product Owner for one or more business-critical applications in their Gurugram office. In this role, you will bridge business and technology by translating business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs. You will analyze business processes and data to identify opportunities, root causes, and solutions, then manage product roadmaps, sprint planning, estimation, and backlog prioritization.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, architects, and business leaders to deliver process improvements and technology modernization initiatives. Key responsibilities include facilitating Agile ceremonies, ensuring successful end-to-end product delivery, building strong stakeholder relationships, and providing clear, timely communications across business and technology teams. You will also champion AI-driven innovation to improve business outcomes and product effectiveness.
The role operates within a collaborative Agile environment focused on solving complex business challenges and driving digital transformation. You will work on risk assessment and ratings products as Moody's continues to advance AI capabilities to move from insight to action.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of IT experience, including 2+ years as a Product Analyst, Product Owner, or Business Analyst
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog management, Jira, and requirements gathering
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and deliverable solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience identifying root causes through data analysis
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related techno-functional field
- Exposure to AI-enabled product development, prototyping, or solution design is a plus
