Okta is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Professional Services team within the Customer First organization. This role bridges customer business objectives and technical implementation of Okta's Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. You will own the requirements lifecycle across customer engagements, working with stakeholders to understand identity and access management needs. Key responsibilities include: • Facilitate discovery workshops with IT, security, and application teams to uncover requirements, map current-state processes, and identify dependencies and pain points • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, producing business process flows and solution design diagrams • Maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure alignment between business goals and technical outcomes • Partner with technical architects and consultants to translate requirements into actionable specifications, providing functional oversight during build phases • Support change management, create user training documentation, and assist with go-live support and hypercare periods • Facilitate structured hand-offs to customers and account teams for long-term support You bring 3+ years of experience in consulting, analysis, and enterprise project/program delivery. You have demonstrated ability to learn IAM concepts and best practices, with strong analytical rigor to evaluate system feasibility and provide data-backed recommendations on security posture and scalability. Excellent communication skills are essential—you synthesize complex technical specifications for non-technical stakeholders and influence diverse groups toward consensus. You are meticulous with attention to detail, proficient in standard project documentation templates (BRD, solution design), and passionate about developing specialized skills in Identity and Access Management. Required education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Extra credit: Okta platform proficiency (WIC/CIC, Auth0), relevant certifications (CBAP, Okta Certified Professional/Administrator/Consultant), or familiarity with AI-driven documentation tools.
