The Accounts Receivable (AR) Billing Specialist will manage core AR billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing while maintaining data quality and supporting financial controls.
Key responsibilities include preparing and issuing invoices according to contractual terms, reviewing billing data for accuracy, handling dispute resolution by providing invoice details and credit notes, and reconciling billing systems with AR ledgers. The role involves identifying process improvement opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance quality while ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
You will act as a contributor in finance system projects involving AR, such as system upgrades and workflow automation, supporting rollout, testing, and stabilization of new tools and technologies. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll work with AR, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve billing issues, partner with O2C leadership to enhance AR performance, and respond to internal and external billing queries.
Month-end close support is a core function, including billing cut-off, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure invoices are issued within defined timelines. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field with fluent English and strong organizational skills. Excel proficiency is essential; SAP B1 or Oracle NetSuite experience is preferred. SSC/GBS background is advantageous. You should demonstrate resilience, sound judgment, and a solution-oriented attitude while working independently and contributing to team goals in a fast-paced environment.
