ARX Robotics is seeking a Bid & Proposal Manager to own the company's global tender processes end-to-end. You will be the central point of contact for all public procurement activities, working with governmental and public sector buyers to secure contracts for ARX's autonomous ground systems and sensors.
In this role, you will:
- Identify, qualify, and screen relevant tender opportunities across public procurement platforms and portals, providing clear go/no-go recommendations based on fit, capacity, and commercial attractiveness
- Manage the complete bid lifecycle from opportunity identification through submission, award, and handover to after-sales and delivery teams
- Coordinate high-quality, fully compliant bid submissions by aligning technical, commercial, and legal documentation against formal tender requirements
- Build and maintain a bid calendar with internal milestones, review gates, and submission deadlines
- Work closely with Legal on tender terms, eligibility criteria, and compliance; with Finance on pricing and commercial terms; and with Tech to translate customer requirements into compelling bid content
- Develop and maintain a structured library of reusable bid content, company documentation, references, and lessons learned
- Conduct post-tender reviews and debriefs to feed insights back into pricing, product positioning, and future bids
- Serve as the primary coordinator across Legal, Sales, Finance, and Tech, ensuring all stakeholders meet shared deadlines and quality standards
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on structure and detail in a fast-moving environment and wants to see direct impact on contracts won.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years of experience in tender management, bid management, public procurement, or strategic/operational consulting, ideally in defence, security, aerospace, public infrastructure, or comparable regulated sectors
- Proven experience with public sector or governmental procurement processes and formal tender requirements (e.g., EU procurement procedures, NATO/framework tendering, innovation and R&D-driven procurement vehicles, or national defence procurement such as VSVgV)
- Structured, hands-on, deadline-driven working style with ability to manage multiple tenders in parallel
- Strong attention to detail when working with formal criteria, eligibility requirements, and submissions
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and hold others to shared deadlines
- Clear, precise writing skills and ability to make technical content readable for evaluating committees
- Solid commercial understanding, including pricing logic, cost structures, and contractual terms
- Awareness of compliance, export control, and confidentiality requirements in defence contexts
- Degree in Business Administration, Law, Industrial Engineering, Public Administration, or comparable field, or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken (German essential for working with contracting authorities)
