GoodData.AI's Professional Services team is seeking a BI Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of business intelligence and AI-powered analytics solutions on the GoodData platform. In this role, you will be the primary technical guide for customers through custom solution development, managing and coordinating GoodData's technical resources across consulting, product, sales, support, and training.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable BI solutions that integrate large language models and custom AI workflows to enhance data access and analysis. You will interface directly with US-market customers during project implementations, developing trusted advisor relationships and translating business requirements into logical data models, ETL designs, and dashboards. You'll lead the technical aspects of solution design, manage customer expectations, and contribute to the development of the consulting team by mentoring colleagues and improving implementation methodologies.
Required qualifications include proven experience building scalable BI solutions, strong technical skills with rapid learning ability, IT consulting experience, and practical expertise integrating AI capabilities into analytics solutions using LLM APIs and prompt design. You must have hands-on experience with relational and dimensional data modeling, advanced SQL knowledge, and the ability to design data pipelines and ETL processes. Self-direction, the ability to manage multiple simultaneous engagements with minimal supervision, and fluency in written and spoken English are essential.
Nice-to-have skills include advanced SQL optimization, experience leading BI engineers and analysts, familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing techniques, knowledge of scripting languages (Ruby, Python), REST web services, RAG patterns, vector databases, AI agents, LLM evaluation pipelines, and project management skills.
