Megazone Cloud US is seeking a Database & Backup Operations Engineer to own day-to-day database operations and backup/recovery for a large North American automotive enterprise customer running a multi-account AWS estate spanning 155 accounts. In this role, you will maintain the health of RDS, Aurora, and self-managed databases, validate that backups actually restore successfully, and execute disaster-recovery runbooks during critical incidents.
You will be part of the Managed Services team as the customer engagement expands from standard MSP to Advanced MSP with a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). You'll collaborate with OS/middleware, EKS, network/security, and CCoE architecture engineers. A 24x7 monitoring team in Vietnam handles first response and escalates issues to you for resolution.
