Moody's is seeking an experienced AVP/VP Analyst to join the Digital Economy team in Bengaluru, focusing on digital finance and artificial intelligence risk management. This is a first-line-of-defense role providing embedded risk expertise across AI and digital finance initiatives.
Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining risk controls for digital finance and AI processes, identifying and assessing operational and technology risks across AI models and platforms, and collaborating with business units to embed risk management practices into day-to-day operations. You will maintain comprehensive documentation of controls, RCSAs, and mitigation plans within GRC tools, monitor emerging AI and digital finance risks, and drive timely remediation actions.
Additional duties encompass developing and tracking Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), supporting risk governance through committee reporting, and ensuring policies align with enterprise risk and regulatory requirements. You will provide training and guidance to business teams on AI and digital finance risk management, partner with technology and vendor teams to manage platform and model risks, and drive continuous improvement of risk processes.
The Digital Economy team at Moody's Ratings assesses and manages risks from digital finance, artificial intelligence, and cyber threats reshaping global financial systems. The team provides thought leadership on how technologies like blockchain, AI, and digital assets impact operational resilience and credit markets.
Required qualifications: 9+ years of experience with 5+ years in technology governance, risk, and control within financial services, with strong focus on AI and digital finance. Hands-on GRC platform experience (OpenPages or similar), proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and proven stakeholder management across business, technology, risk, and compliance functions. Master's or Bachelor's in a technology discipline (Computer Science, Information Management, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or equivalent). Working knowledge of risk management frameworks (NIST, ORX, ISO 27001). Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) are desirable.
