Moody's is seeking an Associate Vice President for Procurement Analytics and Governance to lead data strategy, governance, and analytics across the global procurement function. This role combines strategic data governance with hands-on analytics delivery, requiring 8–12 years of experience in data governance, business intelligence, or analytics—ideally within procurement or supply chain contexts.
Key responsibilities include designing and delivering procurement reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks that support executive decision-making; establishing procurement KPI standards and governance controls to create a single source of truth; and serving as the Procurement Data Owner overseeing supplier, contract, spend, savings, risk, ESG, and operational data domains. You will define data ownership models, taxonomies, business glossaries, and audit-ready governance processes while partnering with Finance, Technology, and Analytics teams to align with enterprise data standards.
The role owns procurement BI dashboards and reporting, driving automation, scalability, and self-service analytics capabilities. You will deliver actionable insights for sourcing, category management, supplier performance, negotiations, and savings realization. Additional responsibilities include overseeing PSG supplier program reporting (spend tracking, rebate calculations, forecasting, compliance), leading procurement data remediation and transformation efforts (P2P, ERP, Supplier Lifecycle Management), and championing AI and advanced analytics adoption.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field; strong expertise in data governance frameworks, KPI governance, master data management, and enterprise data standards; proven experience designing executive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms; demonstrated success leading large-scale data remediation or ERP/P2P transformation initiatives; ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment; and knowledge of AI-enabled analytics and procurement platforms (Coupa, SAP, Ariba). MBA, Master's in Analytics, or professional certifications (DAMA CDMP) preferred.
