Precision for Medicine is seeking an Associate Research Scientist to join the Evidence Generation team, which conducts primary data collection research studies in the pharmaceutical and biotech space. This role focuses on health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), supporting study execution, data collection, and analysis across mixed-methods research approaches and multiple therapeutic areas. Key responsibilities include: supporting all aspects of primary data collection research studies from literature reviews through data analysis and dissemination; developing data collection instruments such as surveys and interview guides; contributing to study protocols and project deliverables under senior guidance; assisting with project management to ensure timely, high-quality outputs; supporting client engagement through meeting preparation and documentation; and contributing to business development activities including proposal drafting. You will work with cross-functional teams collecting data from diverse healthcare stakeholders including patients, caregivers, providers, payers, and policy makers. The role requires proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including experience with analysis software such as NVivo, Dedoose, R, SAS, or Stata. You will support literature reviews, scientific writing, data synthesis, and creation of client-ready presentation materials. Required qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in health services research, health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related discipline. You must have 1-2 years of relevant research experience (including academic research), strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Prior consulting or internship experience is preferred but not required.
