Netflix is seeking an Associate in Production Finance to support the company's growing slate of original productions in India. This role sits at the intersection of finance, production, and strategy, partnering with production companies, line producers, and internal Netflix teams throughout the production lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include partnering with production companies and internal teams to support financial decision-making from development through delivery. You will review and analyze production budgets, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts, monitoring spend against approved budgets and identifying financial risks early. The role involves performing variance analysis, developing Estimates to Complete (ETCs), and communicating insights to support business decisions.
Beyond number validation, you'll identify cost optimization opportunities and operational efficiencies by analyzing production schedules and spending patterns. You'll prepare financial summaries and presentations for internal stakeholders, map production costs to Netflix's Chart of Accounts, and maintain accurate financial records across internal systems.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in production finance, production accounting, production management, or similar roles in film, television, or media. Required skills include strong production budgeting and cost reporting knowledge, advanced Excel proficiency, and Google Workspace expertise. Experience with production accounting software and Tally or similar accounting systems is advantageous. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field is required; CA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
