Lendable is a UK unicorn fintech company building technology to help people get credit and save money. The company has rebuilt consumer finance products (loans, credit cards, car finance) from scratch and is rapidly scaling in the US market, with the US credit card business growing 20x in the last six months. You will join the product team as an Associate Product Manager focused on the US Cards business, covering post-booking areas including payments, collections, credit limit increases, spend, and the mobile app. The role emphasizes rapid learning and iteration over polish: one week you might size an opportunity, the next you're sitting with ops to understand customer pain points, or testing rough ideas with real customers before engineering builds the full solution. Key responsibilities include: - Running experiments across the customer lifecycle (payment reminders, autopay setup, engagement gamification) - Collaborating with credit risk and data science teams to apply models to new use cases - Finding cheap, fast ways to test ideas (manual processes, emails, scripts, AI prototypes) before committing engineering resources - Conducting customer research for unbiased insights - Building tools and automations with AI to save time for ops and the broader business - Doing whatever it takes to ship, including unblocking developers, coordinating with legal/compliance, and creating ops guides The team spans London, remote engineers across Europe, and an office in Arlington, Virginia (which you'll visit). You'll report to the Senior Product Manager for Customer Management and work closely with developers, designers, data scientists, credit risk, growth, and operations teams. Lendable emphasizes an AI-forward approach: PMs build their own dashboards, create agents and workflows to automate repetitive work, and ship straightforward changes to production themselves. The company culture values ownership, resourcefulness, and challenging the status quo. Work arrangement: hybrid with in-office Tuesday–Thursday in London, work-from-home Mondays and Fridays. The company offers top-tier private health insurance, offsites for the US Cards team, and an annual whole-company trip abroad. REQUIREMENTS: - 1–4 years in product, strategy, analytics, consulting, or operations, with time spent working closely with product or execution teams to deliver value - Strong curiosity: you ask questions and dig until you understand why something is happening - Comfort forming hypotheses and finding the quickest way to test them, even if rough - Data comfort: ability to write SQL or Python to answer your own questions - Active use of AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) in work or side projects, with interest in exploring their potential - Willingness to pick up small jobs; understanding that in a lean team, no task is beneath attention - Preference for variety in daily work - Bonus: experience in lending, payments, fintech, or fast-growing startups Not a fit if you prefer a well-defined backlog or need problems fully specified before starting.
