FourKites is an AI-driven supply chain visibility platform serving global enterprises like Walmart and Cardinal Health. The company helps customers optimize logistics costs by 15%+, reduce inventory by 35%+, and improve service efficiency by 65%+ through intelligent automation and real-time freight tracking. You will join the OTR (On-Time Reliability) & Core Visibility team as an Associate Product Manager, owning meaningful product outcomes from day one. This is a hands-on role—not a support function—where you'll work directly with data, engage with enterprise customers, and partner with engineering and design to ship features that drive adoption, retention, and customer experience. Your responsibilities span four areas: **Product Ownership & Adoption (40%):** Track and analyze feature adoption, engagement, and retention KPIs. Identify friction points through usage data and customer interviews. Build and prioritize a backlog of targeted enhancements that improve customer stickiness. Support roadmap planning with well-reasoned prioritization recommendations. **Data & Insights (30%):** Work hands-on with product analytics platforms (Pendo, Mixpanel) and write SQL queries to explore feature usage and customer behavior independently. Build dashboards tracking adoption trends across segments. Translate quantitative findings into product hypotheses and backlog items. Partner with Data Science and Engineering on instrumentation improvements. **Customer Engagement (20%):** Participate in customer onboarding calls, QBRs, support escalations, and discovery sessions to understand shipper workflows. Work with Customer Success to surface systemic product gaps. Champion customer voice in internal planning and sprint reviews. **Cross-Functional Execution (10%):** Collaborate with Engineering and Design through scoping, development, and post-launch monitoring. Support Product Marketing with onboarding materials and adoption playbooks. Contribute to presales conversations and market requirement gathering. **Required Qualifications:** - 3+ years developing deep expertise in supply chain or logistics (truckload, last-mile, ocean freight) - Practical experience in truckload transportation, freight visibility, or carrier/shipper operations - Experience collaborating with distributed or offshore engineering teams across time zones - SQL proficiency and comfort with analytics tools; ability to build data-driven narratives independently - Strong customer engagement skills: discovery calls, user story writing, translating qualitative feedback into requirements - Demonstrated use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to accelerate PM workflows **Preferred Qualifications:** - Prior exposure to SaaS onboarding flows, feature adoption programs, or customer health scoring - Experience with Pendo, Amplitude, or similar product analytics tools - Familiarity with agile development and working directly with engineering squads - Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, economics, or quantitative discipline **Year 1 Success Metrics:** You independently own a product area within OTR visibility with clear adoption and engagement KPIs. You've shipped successful customer-facing improvements end-to-end with significant business impact. Your data fluency enables you to generate insights that inform strategic decisions.
