First Resonance is seeking an Associate Product Manager to drive product adoption and customer success for their manufacturing software platform. The company accelerates hardware development for companies building space exploration, electric aircraft, autonomous vehicles, nuclear reactors, robotics, and other next-generation hardware products. In this role, you will own the customer onboarding experience and specific product modules that shape first-time user success. Your primary responsibilities include interacting directly with new customers during onboarding to understand their needs and translate feedback into product improvements. You will manage the full feature lifecycle from discovery through launch and optimization, working closely with engineering and design teams to ship high-quality features. Key responsibilities include: conducting customer interviews and user research to inform product decisions; taking ownership of onboarding-related product areas and maintaining a prioritized backlog; collaborating with engineering, design, customer success, and sales teams; using data and user feedback to track feature success and suggest iterative improvements; and participating in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. You will be mentored by senior product leaders while taking direct ownership of defined product areas. This is an ideal role for someone ready to grow their product management career with hands-on customer interaction and cross-functional collaboration. Required qualifications include 2-4 years of experience in product management, product engineering, solutions engineering, or manufacturing engineering. You should have a customer-centric mindset with deep empathy for users, strong execution skills, an analytical approach to problem-solving, and clear communication abilities. Proficiency with modern tools and AI-assisted workflows is valued. Desired qualifications include experience in agile/scrum frameworks, customer-facing roles, basic understanding of web applications and APIs, and especially manufacturing floor or manufacturing engineering experience.
