Salary: USD 87,188 - 114,434 / annual
Oscar Health, a technology-driven health insurance company founded in 2012, is seeking an Associate, Process Improvement to join the Network Operations team. This role is fully remote, based in the Dallas, Texas metro area.
You will be responsible for leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives and operational optimization projects. Key responsibilities include end-to-end project management—from planning through stakeholder engagement and on-time delivery. You will evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, and analyzing data and metrics to inform process improvements. You'll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop implementation strategies, manage change, and mitigate risks. The role also includes mentoring team members and supporting their professional development.
You will report to the Director, Network Ops Governance & Oversight and work across business and technical teams to represent departmental needs in company-wide strategic initiatives and solve internal process challenges.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience, plus 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting. You must have 2+ years using data tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar), 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience, 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying procedures, and 2+ years applying process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints).
Bonus qualifications include a degree in Engineering or Business Administration and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
