Heidi Health is an AI-powered healthcare platform that has processed 73 million patient visits in 18 months and now supports 2.5 million patient sessions weekly across 190+ countries. The company is building clinical AI tools to reduce administrative burden on clinicians and strengthen the human connection in medicine.
The Communications team is responsible for Heidi's external reputation and internal messaging across global markets. This role is a hands-on operations position reporting to the Head of Communications, designed to scale the team's impact as the company grows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end communications operations: build cadences, trackers, meeting rhythms, and reporting structures to keep the team aligned and focused on strategic priorities rather than daily firefighting.
- Manage all communications output quality and compliance: review everything going out under Heidi's name against regulatory and brand standards before release, applying editorial judgment grounded in media relations and writing craft.
- Capacity management: assess team bandwidth, prioritize competing requests, and make trade-off decisions when priorities collide.
- Oversee external partners: manage budgets and delivery frameworks for PR agencies, vendors, and freelance partners.
- Serve as connective tissue between communications, brand, product marketing, and field teams; coordinate cross-company projects and translate commercial/clinical updates into actionable comms plans.
- Build systems and track metrics: create templates and workflows for recurring tasks, leverage AI tools for efficiency, and measure performance against goals while iterating as the company scales.
You'll work in a fast-moving environment where communications must respond to live news cycles and strategic product launches. The role requires balancing strategic planning (thinking 6 months ahead) with tactical execution and ad-hoc requests from a 600-person global team.
