The Associate People Business Partner (PBP) is a field-based HR role serving as the primary People Team resource for assigned medical clinics and operational leaders in the Miami/Doral, Clermont, and Orlando areas. This position bridges corporate HR strategy with frontline clinic operations, building trusted relationships with employees and managers through regular on-site engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary HR contact for assigned clinic locations, conducting routine visits to support employee relations, workforce planning, manager development, and engagement initiatives
- Partnering with clinic leaders to identify and resolve people-related challenges, including employee concerns, attendance issues, performance management, and workforce effectiveness
- Supporting onboarding, integration, and orientation for new clinic employees and leaders
- Promoting a culture of engagement, accountability, inclusion, and employee well-being
- Providing accessible HR guidance to frontline employees on policies, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and workplace concerns
- Monitoring engagement trends and workforce concerns, providing recommendations to People leadership
- Supporting organizational change initiatives (mergers, acquisitions, expansions, restructures, transitions)
- Partnering on staffing strategies, workforce planning, and retention initiatives
- Assisting with employee relations investigations and resolution
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements
- Analyzing workforce metrics (turnover, vacancies, engagement) to identify improvement opportunities
The role is primarily on-site with regular travel to assigned clinic and corporate locations. The majority of work involves desk-based activities and computer work, with significant field engagement required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of Human Resources experience required, preferably in a field model
- Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, or talent initiatives preferred
- Experience in multi-site healthcare, retail, or hospitality environment preferred
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or progress toward certification preferred
