Salary: USD 91,659 - 120,303 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking an Operational Forecasting Associate to join the Workforce Management team. This role focuses on building and maintaining detailed operational forecasts for volumetric demand and resourcing needs, supporting leadership in generating budget estimates based on forecast models. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and maintain operational forecasts aligned with business objectives - Collaborate with stakeholder teams to refine forecast models and ensure alignment with strategic changes - Partner with data teams to source, validate, and refine data for analyses - Learn business operations and support periodic planning discussions with senior stakeholders - Leverage tools such as Workday, Jira, BigQuery, and Looker for analysis and reporting - Generate insights and serve as the primary point of contact for Sr. Managers, Associate Directors, and Directors on assigned business units - Analyze data to support data-driven decision-making across the organization - Present findings clearly to non-technical colleagues through compelling visualizations and narratives - Own stakeholder relationships and identify improvement opportunities - Support strategic projects as needed Required qualifications: - 3+ years of demonstrated work in operations forecasting - 2+ years working with large datasets, distilling analyses into actionable insights - 2+ years of SQL experience (filtering, aggregation, CTEs) or proficiency in R/Python (Pandas, loops, statistical tests) - Strong verbal and written communication skills for business reporting - 1+ years of Excel/Google Sheets proficiency (VLookup, nested if statements, connected sheets) Bonus experience includes healthcare, investment banking, or insurance industry background; Looker or BI/data visualization tool expertise; and 3+ years of technical analytical work.
