Salary: USD 64,832 - 85,092 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate Manager to join the Provider Operations team. This is a people-management role reporting to the Manager of Provider Data Operations. In this position, you will coach, develop, and motivate a team of colleagues to support a best-in-class lean operation. You will partner closely with other departmental managers to drive objectives and key results focused on improving productivity, client satisfaction, and process efficiencies. Key responsibilities include: • Evaluating overall departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics; assisting in development of departmental metrics and implementation of mitigation strategies • Collaboratively working with internal and external stakeholder groups to formulate proactive implementation, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation initiatives • Conducting root-cause analysis on systemic issues and constructing action plans to address them • Maintaining, analyzing, and communicating reporting on assigned team KPIs, tracking monthly and quarterly performance against departmental objectives • Hiring and managing a team with direct responsibility for performance management, growth and development, and HR administrative tasks • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events. The role is remote and open to candidates residing in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas. REQUIREMENTS: • 3+ years of direct people management experience • 2+ years of experience in an operations role supporting production teams • 1+ year of experience using data to drive decision making and continuous improvement • 3+ years of provider data experience with a health insurance company (prior healthcare or insurance-related experience required) • Strong proficiency navigating Excel/Google Sheets, JIRA, and/or SQL BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience using analytics tools and reporting (Tableau, Looker, Periscope, etc.) to read, interpret, and action upon data • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives cross-functionally • Bachelor's Degree • Operational Excellence Certification (Lean Six Sigma or similar)
