SoFi is seeking an Associate Manager for Credit Bureau Resolution to support the Senior Credit Bureau Business Manager in overseeing the credit bureau program. This role focuses on managing the inquiry disputes team, ensuring cases are investigated appropriately, and driving continuous process improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee inquiry disputes execution and team performance
- Manage and execute on quality assurance findings, ensuring specialists follow standard operating procedures
- Serve as the first point of contact for inquiry escalations and QA issues
- Recommend SOP updates based on QA observations and industry best practices
- Train team members on new guidance and ensure alignment with dispute investigation protocols
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive process improvement efforts
- Analyze portfolio reporting data to identify inconsistencies with credit bureau reporting policies
- Develop and mentor disputes team members
- Lead remediation of identified issues
- Track performance metrics and hold team accountable to established standards
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in credit bureau reporting, dispute resolution, or related field
- 2+ years of direct team management experience
- Process improvement and project management experience
- Knowledge of credit bureau reporting regulations, including FCRA
- Experience in regulated industries such as banking or financial services
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of Metro 2 format standards and experience with credit bureau reporting systems such as Metro 2 validation tools or e-OSCAR.
