The Associate Director, Specialty Care Strategy & Operations will serve as a senior strategic and operational leader reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy & Operations for Specialty Care. This role combines deep financial and operational partnership with hands-on people management. Key responsibilities include: mastering Specialty Care's P&L mechanics and financial drivers to identify levers for sustainable growth and margin expansion; acting as the primary financial and operational partner to department leadership; leading cross-functional alignment across Product, Clinical, Marketing, and Operations to set strategic roadmaps and drive execution; directly managing clinical operations functions alongside core strategy work; building AI natively into operational and clinical workflows to improve efficiency and quality; owning long-term capacity and workforce planning models; defining and tracking key operational metrics; partnering with clinical leaders on quality frameworks and standards; and directly managing, coaching, and developing operations team members. Success is measured by Specialty Care maintaining clear P&L visibility and sustainable revenue growth; establishing strong cross-functional partnerships enabling flawless execution; clinical operations and capacity models reliably grounding planning; native AI integrations delivering measurable improvements in team velocity and quality; clearly defined and consistently tracked operational metrics; and highly engaged direct reports with clear success criteria and development pathways. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in business operations, strategy, or corporate consulting (including 3+ years in scaling/high-growth startups); mastery of P&L management, gross margin drivers, and unit economics; demonstrated experience managing or partnering with clinical operations to build and scale care execution; proven cross-functional leadership bringing together multiple functions; practical experience integrating AI and analytical tools into workflows; experience building workforce planning and capacity models; strong analytical mindset with comfort navigating raw data; and a demonstrated track record of people management and coaching. This is a fully remote position with potential quarterly travel to NYC headquarters required.
