Terray Therapeutics is a venture-backed biotechnology company pioneering AI-driven drug discovery through automated chemistry and machine learning. The company operates a closed-loop system that generates precise chemical datasets at scale, combining virtual molecular design with experimentation to map biochemical interactions and accelerate the path to novel therapeutics.
You will lead product vision and execution for tDesign, an internal platform serving as the central interface for small molecule drug discovery programs. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this is a strategic role at the heart of the company where science and technology converge.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Product Leadership**: Own the complete product lifecycle for tDesign, defining a roadmap aligned with Terray's scientific and business objectives. Present regularly to executive leadership on product impact and strategy.
**User-Centric Design**: Deeply understand the workflows of medicinal chemists, molecular design scientists, and program leads. Identify and solve friction points in the design-make-test-analyze (DMTA) cycle. Translate complex internal scientific tools into intuitive, resilient user experiences suitable for broader deployment.
**Cross-Functional Orchestration**: Serve as the primary bridge between scientific stakeholders and engineering/AI teams. Ensure technical specifications accurately reflect biological and chemical realities while driving organizational alignment.
**Agent & Workflow Integration**: Lead integration of new AI agents and automated workflows into the UI, making advanced computational tools accessible to non-computational experts.
**Adoption & Efficacy**: Monitor user engagement and program success metrics to continuously iterate on the platform. Apply SaaS product principles to ensure tDesign drives measurable improvements in discovery velocity and outcomes.
You will empower medicinal chemists and molecular design scientists by providing intuitive access to proprietary AI models through automated workflows and drug discovery agents, while collaborating with ML engineers, software engineers, and computational scientists to translate complex needs into seamless experiences.
