As Associate Director of Customer Engagement, you will lead cross-functional implementation teams (pods) reporting to the Head of Deployment. You'll manage 6-8 concurrent projects through the full customer lifecycle—from contract signature through implementation and post-deployment ROI validation. This is a customer-facing role requiring you to act as a servant leader, solving problems at the intersection of software, product, and customer experience.
Key responsibilities include: executing and monitoring project plans, identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies, coordinating customer communications, preparing status reports for clients and stakeholders, and using internal dashboards to track progress and demonstrate ROI. You'll demonstrate flexibility and creative problem-solving while managing multiple concurrent workstreams on tight deadlines.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 8+ years leading software development projects (ideally with experience at both scrappy startups and established scale-stage companies), client-facing experience in enterprise software/professional services, expertise in technical implementations, and proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence). Healthcare experience and PMP certification are preferred. You must be based in SF Bay Area or NYC and attend in-office 2-3 days per week. Occasional travel required.
Compensation: $140K-$175K base + variable + equity. Benefits include flexible PTO, comprehensive health/dental/vision, HSA employer contribution, generous parental leave, life insurance, home office stipend, and 401(k).
