Salary: USD 69,000 - 80,000 / annual
Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform (NYSE: IBTA), is seeking an Associate Decision Scientist to join its 50+ person Analytics team in Denver. This hybrid role (3 days/week in office: Tue–Thu) offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally on large-scale behavioral and transaction data to drive product and business decisions.
You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to analyze data, improve product design, and enhance user experience. You'll provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders, develop insightful reporting and dashboards, and communicate findings clearly to business teams. The role emphasizes creative problem-solving, leveraging data for product innovation, and building state-of-the-art analytical tools.
Key responsibilities include SQL-based data wrangling, working with modern BI tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau), and using data analysis tools (Python, Spark, Hive, Airflow). You'll support strategic decision-making, challenge assumptions, and help stakeholders understand trade-offs.
Required qualifications: 0–1+ years in an analytical function; Bachelor's degree in analytics, mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, economics, or equivalent; proficiency in SQL and modern BI/data tools; strong communication and collaborative skills; customer focus and resourcefulness.
