You will join as an Associate Data Scientist focused on Operations Research and mathematical optimization. In this role, you will translate complex real-world planning, pricing, and supply chain problems into well-structured optimization models. You'll design and develop algorithms that operate at scale in production customer environments, working on problems that span inventory management, resource allocation, pricing strategies, and logistics optimization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Formulating business problems as mathematical optimization models
- Developing and implementing optimization algorithms
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to integrate solutions into the platform
- Testing and validating models against real customer data and use cases
- Contributing to the evolution of Aera's optimization capabilities
