As an Associate Commercial Counsel, you will support the end-to-end contract process for a variety of commercial agreements, balancing business priorities with compliance and risk in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. You will report to the Deputy General Counsel and work closely with senior counsel and cross-functional teams across Sales, Finance, Privacy, Security, and Customer Success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the contract review process for customer, partner, and vendor contracts including SaaS agreements, services agreements, statements of work, vendor agreements, and NDAs from intake through negotiation and completion
- Drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts while providing clear, business-oriented recommendations that balance risk and company needs
- Reviewing contract modification requests and coordinating with internal business partners to negotiate terms and obtain necessary approvals for non-standard positions
- Guiding cross-functional teams on commonly requested edits, non-standard terms, and general contractual questions
- Partnering with Finance, Privacy, and Security stakeholders to address compliance and risk considerations
- Creating scalable, AI-assisted contracting workflows that shorten review cycles and enable business teams to self-serve on standard deals
- Piloting new AI-first tools, documenting playbooks, and turning individual legal judgment into repeatable systems that improve speed, consistency, and risk management
