Bartesian is a fast-growing startup creating a new product category that enables consumers to enjoy premium cocktails at home with the touch of a button. The company eliminates the need to buy and store countless bottles of mixers or master complex drink recipes. The Associate Brand Manager will play a crucial role in navigating the commercialization process for new product launches, working across departments to bring innovative products to market. Reporting to the Head of Product, this role sits at the intersection of product development, marketing, and operations. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to guide new products, line extensions, and renovations from concept through commercialization - Owning packaging development end-to-end, including briefing designers, reviewing proofs, and identifying new packaging suppliers - Analyzing market performance, sales data (Shopify, retail channels), and customer feedback to optimize product positioning - Developing creative briefs and supporting go-to-market asset creation (paid ads, website landing pages, organic social) - Tracking project milestones, identifying risks, and implementing solutions to keep launches on schedule - Coordinating with external stakeholders including suppliers, agencies, and retail partners - Determining market needs and opportunities within assigned product lines (cocktail capsules and accessories) The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, brand management, new product development, or consulting. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fields is required; an MBA is a plus. CPG or food and beverage manufacturing experience is valued. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking with a consumer lens, and excellent communication skills. Based in Chicago with hybrid flexibility: 4 days/week in-office (Mon–Thu) and remote on Fridays.
