Zscaler is seeking an Associate Analyst for Business Development Operations to join the Bangalore office on a hybrid basis. You will report to the Manager of Business Development Operations and serve as the analytical backbone for the global Business Development organization, with a focus on supporting the US-based team while collaborating with India-based Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, and Marketing Operations teams.
In this role, you will own end-to-end delivery of analytics and insights that drive sales growth and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include creating and enhancing Salesforce reports and dashboards to monitor business performance, delivering ad-hoc and recurring analytics (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to support organizational needs, managing account mapping requests from scoping through insights delivery, and planning operational programs that improve engagement with Technology Partners.
You will need expert-level proficiency with Salesforce, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets, combined with a foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and how to leverage them within your functional domain. The role requires 2+ years of relevant sales or business operations experience in software, ideally with knowledge of AWS marketplace operations.
Success in this position demands strong analytical rigor, the ability to thrive in ambiguity, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. You should be a structured problem-solver who can break down complex goals into deliverable milestones, operate with integrity and ownership, and maintain high accuracy while managing multiple concurrent projects. Experience with AI-driven analytics tools, automated workflow scripts, or predictive modeling within Salesforce will set you apart.
