Candid is reimagining orthodontics by combining clinical expertise with telehealth technology. The company empowers general dentists with tools to make clear aligner care predictable, efficient, and profitable for their practices while keeping it accessible and affordable for patients.
As an Associate Account Executive, you'll support the full sales cycle from lead generation through client onboarding, working closely with experienced Account Executives to expand access to Candid's clear aligner solutions across the NYC territory. This is an outside sales role requiring presence in the territory.
Key responsibilities include:
**Prospecting & Lead Development:** Research and identify prospective dental practices aligned with target markets. Conduct proactive outreach including cold calls and in-person visits to generate interest and schedule meetings. Work with partners to convert prospective practices into signed, active accounts.
**Sales Support & Presentations:** Help organize and conduct in-practice trainings for dental teams. Provide product information and respond to client questions during presentations.
**Client Onboarding & Relationship Management:** Assist in onboarding new practices by coordinating training and product setup. Support Account Executives in maintaining ongoing client relationships. Monitor account activity to identify expansion opportunities. Help coordinate and execute on-site and local events.
**Account Management & Growth:** Support Account Executives in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Assist in preparing performance reports and identifying optimization opportunities.
**Market & Product Knowledge:** Stay current on Candid's products, industry trends, and competitor offerings. Participate in sales training and clinical education to build expertise.
Required qualifications: 1–2 years of professional sales experience (dental, orthodontic, or medical device background preferred). Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to travel within the region (30–40% overnight travel). Salesforce experience is a plus.
