Metropolis Technologies is seeking an Associate Account Executive to join their fast-growing sales team in Los Angeles. The company is pioneering the Recognition Economy through AI and computer vision technology, transforming parking and expanding into retail and hospitality sectors. In this role, you will drive net-new business development across a regional territory. Your responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads through multiple channels (cold outreach, networking, inbound), conducting discovery calls and product demos, and developing solution-oriented proposals. You'll execute a consultative sales approach, uncovering client pain points and creating tailored solutions. You will partner with Account Executives and senior leadership to manage client portfolios, ensure strong deal handoffs, and maintain relationship continuity. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll work with marketing, operations, and legal teams on underwriting and financial modeling. You'll maintain clean pipeline hygiene in Salesforce, track activity metrics, and consistently hit generation goals. The role requires mastery of buyer personas, industry trends, and emerging technologies to inform business development strategies. You'll coordinate with internal departments, participate in team meetings, and book high-quality meetings with qualified buyers. Regional travel is expected to support clients and prospecting activities. Required qualifications include 2+ years in SDR/BDR or client-facing roles (consulting, finance, operations, recruiting). Preferred experience includes selling to asset managers, ownership groups, or real estate partners, ideally in proptech or mobility. You should demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, data literacy, and proficiency with Salesforce and CRM platforms. A resilient, metrics-driven mindset paired with coachability and communication skills is essential. Experience leveraging AI tools to transform workflows is valued. The company operates on an office-first model requiring four days per week on-site.
