Metropolis Technologies is seeking an Associate Account Executive to drive net-new business in the Dallas/Houston region. The company is pioneering the Recognition Economy using AI and computer vision technology, starting with transforming parking into a seamless experience and expanding into retail and hospitality. In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities through multiple channels including cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, as well as networking events. You'll execute a consultative sales approach by qualifying inbound and outbound leads through discovery calls, uncovering pain points, and creating solution-oriented proposals. You'll lead client discovery sessions, product demos, and formal sales presentations while developing supporting documentation. You'll partner with Account Executives and senior leadership to manage client portfolios, maintain relationships, and ensure strong deal handoffs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, legal) on underwriting and financial modeling is essential. You'll maintain meticulous activity tracking and clean pipeline hygiene in Salesforce/CRM, monitor sales performance metrics, and develop account strategies to initiate contact with potential clients. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional experience in SDR/BDR roles or client-facing positions in consulting, finance, operations, or recruiting. Experience selling into asset managers, ownership groups, or real estate partners—ideally in proptech or mobility—is preferred. You should demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, creative communication of value propositions, and data literacy with pipeline management experience. Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tools is required. You'll need a resilient, metrics-driven mindset paired with coachability and strong communication skills, with clear ambition to advance into a full Account Executive role. Willingness to travel regionally is expected. The role requires 4 days per week in-office to foster collaboration and innovation.
