Nourish is scaling its national field sales organization and seeking a Provider Partnerships Area Director to lead five regions across the Midwest. This is a high-leverage leadership role managing five Provider Partnerships Regional Managers (PPRMs), each overseeing approximately eight Provider Partnerships Managers (PPMs).
You will build and scale a high-performing field organization by hiring, coaching, and developing PPRMs through disciplined 1:1s, talent reviews, and operating rhythms. You'll ensure consistent regional execution by holding PPRMs to shared standards across performance management, territory strategy, coaching quality, and hiring/ramp. Your responsibilities include translating national strategy into repeatable regional execution, pressure-testing performance through regular field time, and supporting large health system partnerships by collaborating with PPRMs, PPMs, and internal partners to drive adoption and expansion.
As the connective tissue between field and headquarters, you'll partner closely with Enablement, Ops, Growth Strategy, Product, Clinical, and Marketing to surface patterns, remove systemic blockers, and scale what works. You'll also engage directly with health system leadership to guide strategy and unblock challenges.
Success means developing PPRMs who operate against clear performance standards and run their regions through systems; driving strong, predictable adoption of input metrics and territory discipline; successfully onboarding and expanding large health system partners; executing new playbooks and strategic rollouts with fidelity; building a deep bench of future leaders; and creating tight feedback loops between field and the broader organization.
This role requires 1–2x monthly travel. You should be driven by transforming healthcare through better nutrition with a patient-first mindset, thrive as a builder in fast-scaling ambiguous environments, have a track record as a manager-of-managers developing strong leaders, and bring experience managing managers in high-growth field-based sales organizations (healthcare preferred). Strong talent judgment, clear communication, and cross-functional partnership skills are essential.
