Talkiatry, the largest dedicated psychiatry practice in the U.S., is seeking an Area Director to lead its Partnerships Activation team across the Central region. This is a people-leadership and commercial strategy role combining team development, regional growth strategy, and executive relationship management.
You will build and develop a high-performing team of Provider Partnerships Managers, coach them through field travel and in-market coaching, and drive commercial results by achieving referral and growth goals. You'll identify new partnership opportunities with health systems and medical practices, set regional commercial priorities, and guide your team's market focus. Cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Marketing, Clinical, and Product teams is essential to execute effectively and scale best practices across the broader Partnerships organization.
The ideal candidate is a proven commercial leader with 7–10+ years managing field-based sales, business development, or partnership teams, preferably in healthcare. You excel at hiring and developing quota-carrying talent, building executive relationships, and balancing strategic long-term opportunities with day-to-day execution. You're data-driven, highly accountable, comfortable in ambiguous environments, and motivated by the mission to expand access to high-quality mental healthcare.
You must live in one of the Central region states: Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, or Arkansas.
Talkiatry operates a technology-powered, in-network platform with 750+ psychiatrists, 250+ therapists, and over two million patient visits delivered nationwide. The company was co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve healthcare's urgent mental health access challenge while reducing clinician burnout.
