Celonis is seeking an Applied Value Engineer to work with strategic global accounts, diagnosing their operational challenges and architecting state-of-the-art AI solutions on the Celonis platform. You will execute technical discovery to prototype bespoke, domain-specific use cases that address industry-specific pain points in areas like supply chain and finance.
Key responsibilities include: (1) Discovery & AI Solutioning—translating domain expertise and customer requirements into flawless project execution, prototyping bespoke AI solutions targeting nuanced operational challenges; (2) AI Solution Development—driving end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects, delivering secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG, tools, and guardrails integrated with enterprise data and compliance frameworks; (3) Value Selling & Realization—maintaining active technical involvement with strategic accounts to ensure value realization and adoption; (4) Domain Specialization—leveraging industry expertise to build end-to-end solutions and codify reusable methodology.
Required qualifications: 2+ years of executive-facing presales and value engineering experience with proven PoV execution and ROI modeling; solid domain and industry expertise (supply chain, finance, etc.); Python proficiency, API design, SQL, data integration, and ML/AI libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Hugging Face Transformers); hands-on experience with agentic AI systems including LLM orchestration, tool use, RAG, and prompt engineering; production ML/LLMOps experience with model deployment and monitoring across cloud services (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, GCP Vertex AI); understanding of cloud architectures, identity, data governance, and compliance; applied knowledge of optimization, statistical analysis, and forecasting; strong presentation skills and executive presence; Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
