You'll join Grid's Seattle office as an Applied Scientist, working at the intersection of product, engineering, and business to drive impact through data. Your focus will be on building and scaling core product lines, with specific projects including fraud detection and prevention in novel lending/advance contexts, predictive analytics for payout and repayment systems, and related data science initiatives.
You'll have access to robust, clean datasets and clear research objectives. The role offers significant autonomy and ownership—you'll identify key leverage points for data products and help establish Grid's standards for statistical inference and machine learning practice.
Grid's backend stack includes Python, GCP, Go, protobufs, BigQuery, and MySQL. The company has invested heavily in data warehousing, streaming analytics infrastructure, and data quality, positioning you to work efficiently with powerful tools and clean data sources.
