Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Armory is rebuilding healthcare transaction infrastructure to make getting care as simple as ordering takeout. The company has built and shipped complex workflow and AI systems for HHS, NIH, and other critical institutions, with a small in-person team based in New York.
As an Applied AI Strategist, you operate at the intersection of customer operations and AI-driven redesign. You own the gap between how care providers currently operate and how they should operate once AI is native to their workflows.
Key responsibilities:
- Scope and ship: guide product and engineering teams to build solutions and demo to customers
- Take customers live: onboard them onto the platform, drive adoption, and reach trusted steady state
- Build trust through execution: deliver reliably and become the first person they call
- Learn operations deeply: embed with customer teams to understand workflows, handoffs, and workarounds
- Make it repeatable: turn each deployment into a scalable process with supporting tooling
You'll spend time writing product specs, sitting with customers to trace broken workflows end-to-end, redesigning operating models, and working directly with engineers to get new systems into production.
Ideal candidates:
- See past customer requests to identify the real underlying problem
- Care deeply that solutions work—millions rely on this system
- Comfortable operating without a playbook; you write it as you go
- Understand systems well enough to lead engineering conversations toward long-term solutions
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or U.S. lawful permanent resident
- Full-time, in-person position at New York City office
