Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Architect to join its India team as a pre-sales technical advisor. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical expert helping large enterprises across India and the Asia-Pacific region understand and integrate Claude, Anthropic's AI system, into their technology stacks. You will combine deep technical expertise with customer-facing skills to architect innovative LLM solutions that address complex business challenges while maintaining high standards for safety and reliability.
Key responsibilities include partnering with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions; serving as the primary technical advisor throughout the Claude adoption journey from discovery through deployment; supporting customers building with both the Claude API and Claude for Work; creating and delivering compelling technical content tailored to different audiences (from technical deep dives for engineering teams to business-value conversations with executives); guiding technical architecture decisions and integration strategies; helping customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance for their specific use cases; identifying common integration patterns and contributing insights to Product and Engineering teams; traveling occasionally within India and the APAC region for customer workshops and relationship building; maintaining strong knowledge of LLM capabilities and implementation patterns; and collaborating across time zones with global teams while serving as the technical expert for the India market.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
- Experience working with enterprise customers in India or the APAC region, navigating complex buying cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional ability to build relationships with and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders including C-suite executives, engineering and IT teams
- Strong technical communication skills with ability to translate customer requirements between technical and business stakeholders
- Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
- Comfortable with Python
- Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools or background in machine learning or data science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey complicated topics in easily understandable terms
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones as part of a global team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a field relevant to the role
