AlphaSense is a market intelligence platform trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500. The company combines AI-driven search with a universe of public and private content—equity research, company filings, event transcripts, expert calls, news, and trade journals—to help sophisticated organizations remove uncertainty from decision-making.
This is a new role on a strategic team supporting AlphaSense's financial data products. The Application Specialist sits at the intersection of sales, customer success, and technical implementation, working with prospects and clients to demonstrate and drive adoption of financial data solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting sales through product demos and strategic trials of financial data solutions, running trial training calls, and overcoming objections
• Driving customer adoption by providing advanced training, customizations, and product consultations; building custom templates and modeling tools
• Developing subject matter expertise in quantitative analysis for investment and valuation decisions, and packaging insights for sales and account management teams through how-to videos, enablement materials, and support articles
• Identifying product opportunities and market feedback by leveraging deep understanding of both products and customer use cases
• Acting as an escalation point for product and support teams on complex customer scenarios, particularly around Excel Add-in integration and workflow challenges
You bring a finance background with strong client-facing skills, genuine rapport-building ability, and a proactive personality. You're committed to becoming a subject matter expert in financial data across industries and personas, with a passion for technology and capital markets. You excel at distilling complex issues into simple terms, communicate effectively across functions, and are comfortable working in ambiguity. You have strong time management, independent problem-solving skills, and familiarity with the institutional investor landscape.
