Stay22 is a Montreal-based monetization platform that helps creators and digital platforms convert their existing traffic into incremental revenue. The company powers over 6,500 creators and platforms with $1B+ in annual transactions, operating across travel, retail, lifestyle, publishing, events, and transport. As APAC Commercial Lead, you will establish and scale Stay22's commercial presence across Asia-Pacific as the region's first commercial leader. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll operate with significant autonomy to define Stay22's market entry strategy, build the regional commercial engine, and represent the company across the region. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the APAC commercial growth strategy, identifying and sequencing priority markets, building strategic partnerships with travel companies, publishers, creators, events, and transportation providers, and adapting Stay22's commercial playbooks to local market dynamics. You'll own regional business performance, budgets, forecasting, and commercial planning while partnering with Sales, Supply, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership teams. Success in year one means selecting and validating up to three priority markets, signing anchor demand-side and flagship enterprise partnerships, building a qualified regional pipeline with a repeatable go-to-market motion, and delivering early commercial foundations including $1M USD in ARR, 50+ active partners, and 3x qualified pipeline coverage. You'll need 10+ years in partnerships, sales, business development, or commercial leadership within travel technology, affiliate, creator economy, or digital media. A strong network across APAC's travel ecosystem (OTAs, creators, publishers, tourism organizations, events, transportation) is essential. You should have experience developing multi-market commercial strategies across Asia, comfort owning regional business performance and budgets, strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution, and willingness to travel regularly throughout APAC and quarterly to Montreal headquarters.
