Salary: USD 113,000 - 132,000 / annual

Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform (NYSE: IBTA), is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Product Analytics team. You'll build scalable data pipelines and data foundations that power product decisions across consumer products and client surfaces, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you'll collaborate with Decision Scientists and cross-functional teams to aggregate, normalize, and validate datasets for analysis. You'll develop and maintain production data pipelines using Airflow (with exposure to Databricks Asset Bundles), implement CI/CD practices with GitHub Actions, and build automated alerting and anomaly detection systems. You'll own projects end-to-end, from identifying business logic to deploying solutions that minimize technical debt. Key responsibilities include: designing data pipelines with data quality principles; creating standards and change management for events-based data; building UI and automation tools for data democratization; documenting and testing datasets; troubleshooting data anomalies; and exploring AI-powered tools to improve workflows. You'll need 3+ years of practical experience in data engineering supporting analytics teams, or equivalent as an analytics engineer or BI developer. Required skills: Python and SQL, production data pipeline development, schema validation, data contracts, and familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Databricks preferred). Experience with Looker/LookML, Airflow, GitHub Actions, and AI development tools is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field required. The position is hybrid in Denver (3 days in office: Tuesday-Thursday).
