The company operates as a modern international shipping carrier serving major direct-to-consumer brands like Bombas, Native, and Ritual, combining a proprietary asset-light network with technology and customer support to simplify international parcel delivery. The Analytics Engineer role is an individual contributor position on Passport's data team, which focuses on improving organizational systems and enabling data-driven decision-making across the company. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports that support various programs and projects. Key responsibilities include bridging the gap between business and technical teams to create transparent processes, manipulating large datasets and creating DBT models that serve as the source of truth for reporting and AI systems, and documenting internal knowledge base articles and business definitions to ensure accuracy for the internal AI platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to facilitate value for Passport's client base of well-known direct-to-consumer brands, working on cost-saving projects with high ROI. The ideal candidate is self-driven, hungry to learn, and thrives in high-growth environments. Required qualifications include minimum 1 year of professional experience extracting and processing data using SQL, 1 year with DBT, and 1 year with data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar). You must have professional-level English speaking and writing capability, experience communicating between technical and non-technical teams, and proficiency in leveraging AI to build solutions and fix bugs. Experience with semantic layers and knowledge bases for AI is a bonus. Passport offers competitive cash and equity packages, 100% remote work, paid time off, 8 weeks paid parental leave, monthly team virtual events, quarterly gatherings, biannual in-person offsites, and an annual Work Smart Fund for professional development. The team spans 20+ countries globally.
