Signal AI is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join its newly formed Business Analytics team. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to design and build analytical models for premium enterprise clients and internal data users, enabling data-driven decision-making and self-service analytics. In this role, you will manage data pipelines, ensure data quality, and oversee delivery methods across multiple projects. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to identify the correct data for each use case and optimize data models and processes—including those leveraging LLMs—to create flexible, pragmatic data products. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and data models using SQL, dbt, and Airflow - Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI and Tableau for both enterprise clients and internal users - Transforming, analyzing, and optimizing large quantitative and qualitative datasets - Owning reporting processes with strong governance and version control to ensure accuracy and reliability - Testing and refining analytical scoring, user behavior analysis, and product performance metrics to identify trends and establish relevant KPIs - Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and ops analysts to deliver data-driven insights from well-designed data models You bring several years of strong experience with SQL and Python for relational databases (Redshift/S3, SQL Server), ETL/ELT processes and APIs (dbt, Airflow, Talend), and BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase). You have solid knowledge of data modeling and transformation techniques within data pipelines. You're a self-starter who proactively identifies issues and opportunities, loves building products as part of cross-functional teams with an iterative, outcome-driven approach, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. You're eager to learn new skills and bring a positive attitude to the team.
