Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines and modeling across Go-To-Market (GTM) and Product domains. You'll build and maintain the source of truth for operational and product data, enabling leadership, analysts, and product teams to answer complex questions with confidence.
In this role, you'll operate at the intersection of business and engineering, translating ambiguous needs into scalable data products. You'll work within a hub-and-spoke model, partnering closely with GTM, Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to build reliable, scalable, and compliant data systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and delivering end-to-end data pipelines and models powering Sales and Product analytics
- Building curated, governed data marts enabling fast, reliable decision-making
- Designing dimensional data models using dbt for core entities (accounts, pipeline, performance, product usage)
- Partnering with Sales, Product, and Analytics teams to create holistic customer and product lifecycle views
- Raising the bar on data quality, testing, monitoring, and documentation
- Enabling reverse ETL workflows to operationalize insights into business systems
- Acting as a data ambassador across Product, Engineering, BI, and Legal on data contracts and governance
- Leading and mentoring others through design reviews, best practices, and technical guidance
- Evolving internal tooling and infrastructure to improve developer and analyst productivity
You'll work with production-grade dbt models in Snowflake, own ingestion from systems like Salesforce and ERP, implement testing frameworks and monitoring, and maintain the dbt codebase while enforcing best practices.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in analytics or data engineering with modern data stack (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift); strong SQL and dbt expertise; Python proficiency; experience owning end-to-end data workflows; ability to translate business needs into structured solutions; strong cross-functional communication; experience with data testing, monitoring, and governance; proven ability to lead cross-functional projects independently.
Nice-to-have: Sales Operations or GTM analytics experience; familiarity with reverse ETL tools.
