As Analytics Engineer, you'll sit at the heart of Axle's operations, owning critical daily and monthly processes that ensure clients and end customers get paid for flexibility they deliver. This role combines operational excellence with technical depth in data engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning UK energy trading operations (daily trading processes, settlement reviews)
- Debugging complex edge cases across trading, asset registration, and settlement systems
- Identifying revenue and delivery risks and proactively mitigating them
- Building and maintaining data pipelines that power analytics and operational insights
- Communicating findings and actions clearly to engineering and commercial teams
- Building relationships with Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and UK market regulators
