As an AML Officer at Tabby, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and day-to-day operation of the company's Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) framework. This position involves conducting transaction monitoring and reviewing alerts to identify potentially suspicious or unusual activity. You will perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and customer due diligence reviews in line with AML/CTF policies and regulatory requirements, conduct sanctions and watchlist screening, and escalate potential matches for further investigation. Key responsibilities include investigating suspicious transactions and customer activity, documenting findings and recommendations appropriately, and supporting the preparation and submission of suspicious transaction/activity reports in accordance with applicable requirements. You will monitor customer accounts and transactions for indicators of money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and other financial crime risks, maintaining accurate and complete investigation records, case documentation, and supporting evidence. You will escalate high-risk or complex cases to the AML Manager or relevant stakeholders in a timely manner and support the implementation and continuous improvement of AML/CTF controls, processes, and procedures. Additional duties include assisting with AML risk assessments, periodic reviews, reporting, and regulatory requests, collaborating with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to address AML-related issues and strengthen controls. You should stay informed of emerging AML/CTF typologies, regulatory developments, and financial crime risks relevant to fintech and digital wallets. You will support internal audits, SAMA (Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority) inspections, and other regulatory reviews by providing required documentation and information. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline. 2–4 years of experience in AML/CTF, financial crime compliance, transaction monitoring, KYC, or a related field, preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services. Good understanding of SAMA AML/CTF requirements, FATF standards, and financial crime compliance principles. Experience conducting transaction monitoring, KYC reviews, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity investigations. Familiarity with AML systems, transaction monitoring platforms, and case management tools. Professional certification such as CAMS or ICA is a plus.
