Torq is hiring an AI SOC Solutions Architect to join its Professional Services organization. The company is a Series D-funded ($1.2B valuation, $332M total funding) AI-native security operations platform that combines hyperautomation with agentic AI to help enterprises triage, investigate, and respond to threats at machine speed. Torq has achieved 300% revenue growth in 2025, 200% employee growth, and is recognized by Gartner as the "Company to Beat" in AI SOC Agents for Threat Investigation. In this role, you will design and deliver AI-driven SOC automation solutions for enterprise customers, translating their existing security operations into agent-assisted, automated workflows that measurably reduce analyst workload and mean time to respond (MTTR). You'll balance customer-facing collaboration with hands-on technical implementation, working directly with SOC leaders and analysts to engineer real solutions on the Torq platform. Key responsibilities include: designing and implementing AI-driven SOC automation workflows; translating customer Tier 1/2 triage, investigation, and incident response runbooks into automated processes; owning technical delivery end-to-end (architecture, build, validation, handoff); engineering integrations across the customer's security stack (SIEM, EDR/XDR, IdP, ticketing, threat intel) via REST APIs; designing and tuning AI agent behavior through prompt engineering and guardrails; serving as a trusted technical advisor to SOC teams; and feeding field learnings back into product development. Required qualifications: 4–6+ years in a technical security role (SOC analyst, detection/automation engineer, incident response, or technical Professional Services/Solutions Architect); hands-on SOC operational understanding including alert triage, investigation, escalation, and incident response lifecycle; direct experience with core detection tooling (at least one SIEM like Sentinel, Splunk, or Chronicle; and one EDR/XDR like CrowdStrike, Defender, or SentinelOne); and automation and integration skills. This is a builder's role at the leading edge of the AI SOC category, with opportunities to see tangible customer results within weeks of deployment.
