This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, and platform strategy, working to unlock new value for Canva users through deep partnerships with the world's most influential technology companies.

You will shape the evolution of Canva's extensibility surfaces—including the Apps SDK, Connect API, and other platforms—ensuring they meet the needs of developers, partners, and users.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing AI technology partnership strategy, leading complex partner engagements end-to-end from strategy and negotiation through launch and scale, fostering win-win partnerships, maintaining deep active relationships with partners, working cross-functionally to launch and scale partnerships, analyzing performance data to inform roadmap decisions, and acting as an internal champion for partners and external ambassador for Canva.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience leading strategic, product-led partnerships in AI, collaboration, platforms, SaaS, and/or developer ecosystems. You combine exceptional relationship-building and presentation skills (from C-suite to working teams) with strong ability to influence across product, engineering, marketing, and GTM teams. You balance technical understanding, product sense, and commercial acumen, with product management experience being a significant plus. You're highly organized and analytical, comfortable operating as both a hands-on individual contributor and strategic leader, with a strong GSD mindset energized by change, complexity, and building things that scale.
