Factbird helps manufacturers extract actionable insights from live production data through plug-and-play hardware and cloud platforms. As AI Enablement Coordinator, you will shape how the company leverages AI internally—from everyday productivity tools and chatbots to advanced multi-agent systems.
This is a hybrid, mid-career professional role positioned as a natural progression for technical professionals moving toward project leadership and organization-wide influence. You'll own your mandate end-to-end with real independence, connecting your work directly to business impact.
Key responsibilities include:
**Tooling, Licensing & Adoption**
- Own and administer internal AI tooling—selection, setup, and user enablement
- Manage licenses for internal AI tools, monitoring costs and compliance
- Build training and documentation to support company-wide adoption, including a library of reusable skills, prompts, and agents
- Create a roadmap of processes and workflows that can be automated with AI, supporting departments across Factbird in implementation
**Impact & Strategy**
- Identify opportunities for AI to drive productivity, engagement, and quality across all departments
- Measure and report on AI impact (positive and negative)
- Own AI usage guidelines and security best practices in collaboration with Security & Compliance
- Stay current on AI developments and evaluate new tooling before broader adoption
- Provide clear, practical guidance to moderate users and support advanced use cases (multi-agent systems, custom integrations, edge cases)
- Champion organizational productivity through AI, including designing and delivering a company-wide AI learning program
You'll sit within Engineering but operate company-wide, serving as the central point of knowledge on what tools are in use, their costs, and their actual effectiveness.
**Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years of experience post-graduation from a relevant technical Master's program (more is a plus), ideally across one or two companies
- Strong technical understanding of AI and AI tooling—you don't need to build models, but must genuinely understand how tools work
- Interest in growing beyond a purely technical track into project management and cross-team influence
- Comfort working independently and owning a broad, loosely defined area; ability to self-prioritize
- Clear communication skills—explaining AI capabilities and limitations to audiences with varying technical backgrounds
- Experience training, coaching, or presenting to non-technical colleagues; ability to make complex tools approachable
- Proactive mindset: this role requires pushing AI adoption forward, not waiting for direction
