Mistral is seeking an AI Deployment Strategist to bridge strategy and execution for enterprise customers adopting AI solutions. You will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to C-suite executives, architecting AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business transformation across high-stakes industries including finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector.
In this role, you will own the full customer lifecycle—from presales strategy through postsales deployment and adoption. You will lead C-suite workshops to diagnose business challenges and co-create multi-year AI transformation roadmaps. You will design tailored AI strategies and proof-of-concepts that address critical business problems, then lead cross-functional teams (engineers, data scientists, product managers) to execute deployments and ensure solutions are embedded into core customer workflows.
Key responsibilities include: serving as lead strategic advisor for a portfolio of high-value enterprise clients; developing compelling business cases articulating ROI of AI adoption; partnering with sales and product teams to qualify opportunities and position Mistral's solutions; owning end-to-end deployment success from planning through operational integration; navigating organizational complexity and driving change management; identifying expansion opportunities within accounts; mentoring junior strategists; and representing Mistral as a thought leader through speaking engagements and executive briefings.
You will need executive presence, technical credibility, and commercial acumen. The role demands comfort with frequent travel and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments while remaining a collaborative, low-ego team player.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in technical management consulting, enterprise technology, or customer-facing strategic roles, with focus on AI/ML, data architecture, or digital transformation
- Degree in a relevant scientific field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent)
- Deep, practical expertise in AI/ML concepts, enterprise data architecture, and modern software development, including hands-on development of AI solutions
- Proven track record engaging and influencing C-suite executives with ability to navigate complex conversations and align AI strategies with business objectives
- Experience managing high-value accounts, understanding deal mechanics, and building investment cases
- Equally comfortable in presales and postsales: shaping deals, designing solutions, and ensuring successful deployment
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable programs
- Collaborative leadership skills to motivate cross-functional teams and drive results through influence
- Open to frequent travel
